Well, I'm now on vacation, and I didn't have IT enable international service on my iphone - the first meaningful trip since my honeymoon 3 1/2 years ago that I've disconnected. One of my employee's wife is scheduled to have their baby next week (she's already a week past due), and my boss left for Hawaii today, so should be quiet around the office next week, but I can't predict the following week.
After abiding by our CEO's leave work at 3pm and enjoy the long weekend message, I swung by the bodyshop working on my Corvette. They've had the car since early February, and just really started on it this past week. That's another story, captured in my other blog, but needless to say, I'll be owing them an installment likely as large as the total cost of this trip. I can't complain, God does provide - the restoration is being paid for in cash, and the housing fund continues to slowly grow.
Like Naomi, I started my list, and need to just focus on it without obsessing. We took a walk to the beach to see the sunset, and I wanted to get something at CVS on PCH and 6th, but couldn't for the life of me remember what. Half way to the pier I remembered, a hole punch to help put all my loose papers in my folder for the trip. I'm sure there will be one of those moments half way across the Atlantic where I'll remember something I forgot, but how important is it.
