Final Preparation

Today we spent most of the day preparing for VBS. Bekah whipped out her talents to draw a few more well armor’d students. The rest of us, with less artistic ability did other preparation work in decorating the main room, writing out posters with the verse of the day, dividing up the supplies and so on.

While we were doing VBS prep, some of the UTB folks were preparing their room for the conference. When we weren't doing our stuff, Kyle and I spent a little bit of time over there hanging some letters for a few key themes they’re focusing on with their 10th Anniversary conference - “ Remember”.

The Wheelers did finally see their luggage Friday night – it was in Nairobi Thursday night, and was on the second flight to Malindi today. We met the Georgia team – they flew in from Nairobi earlier today, and we’ll be having dinner with them shortly. Tonight we meet the parents of our VBS participants, and tomorrow the conference and VBS.






Four of us are suffering from various ailments – three from nasal congestion and colds, and Becky G has had some stomach distress. Pray for all of us to get healthy/stay healthy. Also pray for us to have flexibility and to be in tune with God, on how he wants to use us as we work with the missionary kids.
